Not necessarily. Odoo integrates with external software via API: payroll system, vertical tax software, vertical CRM, MES, eCommerce. It often makes sense to leave a specialist system in place and use Odoo to coordinate the rest. We decide together during scoping.

Yes. We migrate customer/vendor/item records, opening accounting balances, open invoices, and active operational documents. Closed transactional history (past years) usually stays read-accessible in the old system or as an export — we decide what to migrate based on usage value, not by default.

Yes. Odoo SaaS is hosted in EU data centers (Belgium, Germany, France) and signs DPAs with customers. For self-hosted Community, responsibility is yours: we help you configure EU hosting, backup, retention, access control, and audit logs. Our contract includes DPA clauses and sub-processor list.
