why gitogi
Why Gitogi is the right partner to grow with
01 / 03
We know Italian SMEs from inside
An ERP's value is measured in everyday operations, not architecture. We worked inside Italian SMEs before positioning ourselves as a partner: we know where time gets lost, where information fragments, where company culture risks dispersing across disconnected sheets and tools.
02 / 03
Odoo Official Partner, present locally
We are an Odoo Official Partner, not a generic reseller. We operate from Milan, in native Italian, under Italian contract. Support is here — not offshore.
03 / 03
Not just Odoo: AI Adoption integrated
Odoo coordinates your operational data. With Gitogi you can also train the team on AI Act–compliant AI use, integrate AI into your flows, and appoint a Fractional AI Officer — all with the same partner.
A structured five-phase path, from scoping to customization — designed for those who want an ERP that evolves with the company.
01 → 05
01
Discovery & scoping
Workshop with decision-makers and process owners. We map cross-functional flows, identify the modules you actually need, and show you Odoo in action on a use case adjacent to yours. Rigorous output, no generic proposals.
We help you choose the Odoo environment that fits — cloud or self-hosted — based on scalability, data sovereignty, and the customization flexibility you need. You activate it on odoo.com through our Partner link, while we handle scoping, configuration, and rollout. Versions and terms live on odoo.com.
Output: operational Odoo environment, cloud or self-hosted
03
Configuration
Tenant setup: users, roles, company structure, Italian invoicing, EU VAT reverse-charge, core modules, automations and approval workflows. Configuration that reflects how you actually work, not a template.
Output: Odoo environment configured on your real processes
04
Adoption & training
Training in Italian by role: administrators, key users, end users. Live sessions, recap materials, and on-demand support during the first operational weeks. The team becomes autonomous.
Output: operationally autonomous team on Odoo, no external dependencies
05
Bespoke customization
When standard modules aren't enough, we develop custom modules for your specific flows. Maintainable code, documented, deployable, portable to other Odoo environments.
Quotes, orders, price lists, discounts, payment terms. From quote to order in one click; the invoice is created from the order per your invoicing policy.
Operations
Purchases & vendors
RFQs, purchase orders, vendor management, automatic reorders based on minimum stock levels.
Inventory & logistics
Multi-warehouse, lots and serial numbers, FIFO/LIFO, picking, packing, shipping. End-to-end traceability.
Finance & accounting
Italian accounting
Italian chart of accounts, VAT, reverse-charge, F24, cross-border data via SDI, periodic VAT returns, CEE balance sheet.
Italian e-invoicing

What grows
Six outcomes that stay inside the company
What SME owners cite as the decisive difference when they move to an integrated ERP. Structured growth, not weighed-down growth.
01/06
Real-time visibility
From operations to accounting, every company data point in a single up-to-date dashboard. Decisions are based on today's numbers, not last week's reports.
02/06
Single source of truth
Customer, item, vendor, document records: one shared data set across all departments. No more manual reconciliations between Excel, ERP, and CRM.
03/06
End-to-end traceability
From quote to invoice, from receipt to sale, from intervention to payment. Every transaction is reconstructible and verifiable for audit, quality, and disputes.
04/06
Best practices that stay
Your processes become workflows in the system. People who leave don't take operational know-how with them: the way of working stays, the company grows on solid foundations.
05/06
Grow module by module
Start with the essential modules, add more as the company grows. Without rewriting the system, without changing ERP, without migrations that halt operations.
06/06
Integrated compliance
Italian e-invoicing, GDPR, AI Act, audit logs: configured to your requirements and verified during the project, inside the Odoo + Gitogi system. Compliance isn't an expensive add-on bolted on later.
Odoo coordinates the data. Gitogi puts it to work with AI, compliantly.
Integrating your ERP (operational data) with AI (compliance + productivity) is where many Italian SMEs get stuck. Having the same partner for both accelerates everything: the data is already in the right format, the people are already trained, governance stays consistent.
When you work with Gitogi on Odoo, you have access to the same ecosystem your peers use for AI Adoption, governance, training. They are worlds that talk to each other natively — because we manage them in the same team.
How do we arrive at a tailored proposal for my company?+
Every Odoo project starts with a scoping workshop with decision-makers and process owners. We map cross-functional flows, identify the modules you actually need, evaluate data migration, existing integrations, and custom development. We deliver a detailed proposal with scope, milestones, team, and timeline — before any commitment.
FAQ 01 / 12
How long does it take to go live?+
Standard implementation with configurable modules: 6-12 weeks. More complex implementations — with data migration, external integrations and custom modules — take 12-20 weeks. The main variables are the quality of your starting data and your team's availability for discovery and validation sessions.
FAQ 02 / 12
Does Odoo handle Italian e-invoicing?+
Yes. Odoo generates the FatturaPA XML, manages submission to the Italian SDI exchange system and reception of incoming invoices. The Italian Accounting module is pre-configured with chart of accounts, VAT, reverse-charge, cross-border data via SDI, and periodic VAT returns. Legal-grade archival is a separate requirement, to be assessed with your accountant or an accredited provider: during analysis we verify the right solution and integrate it with Odoo.
FAQ 03 / 12
Can I try Odoo before deciding?+
Yes. Odoo offers 15 days of free trial across all editions. In the scoping workshop we configure a realistic demo environment on your processes, so the trial is meaningful — not an empty-screen tour on generic forms.
FAQ 04 / 12
Do I have to abandon the software I use today?+
Not necessarily. Odoo integrates with external software via API: payroll system, vertical tax software, vertical CRM, MES, eCommerce. It often makes sense to leave a specialist system in place and use Odoo to coordinate the rest. We decide together during scoping.
FAQ 05 / 12
Will my historical data migrate into Odoo?+
Yes. We migrate customer/vendor/item records, opening accounting balances, open invoices, and active operational documents. Closed transactional history (past years) usually stays read-accessible in the old system or as an export — we decide what to migrate based on usage value, not by default.
FAQ 06 / 12
Is Odoo scalable as my company grows?+
Yes, deeply. You can start with four or five essential modules and progressively add purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, HR, eCommerce, marketing automation, helpdesk — without rewriting what you have. The shared data structure means each new module reuses existing records and workflows.
FAQ 07 / 12
What if standard modules aren't enough?+
We develop custom modules in Python on the Odoo framework. Maintainable code, documented, kept in a Git repository. We assign you the rights to the code we write for you upon full payment; the code remains subject to the licences of the underlying Odoo software (LGPL for Community, Odoo Enterprise Edition Licence for Enterprise modules). It is portable to other compatible Odoo environments. Odoo version upgrades may require adjustments to custom modules: we design them to reduce this risk, but re-testing on upgrades is a dedicated activity.
FAQ 08 / 12
How does post go-live support work?+
For the first 4-8 weeks after go-live we offer intensive on-demand support (priority tickets + live sessions). After that, you can continue with an hour-pack support plan or manage internally with your trained team. We don't lock you in: the goal is to make you autonomous.
FAQ 09 / 12
Is Odoo GDPR compliant?+
Yes, with the proper configuration. For Odoo Online/Odoo.sh, hosting takes place in the region selected at activation (an EU option is available) and the DPA is included in Odoo S.A.'s subscription terms; backups and sub-providers follow Odoo's policies. For self-hosted Community, responsibility is yours: we help you configure EU hosting, backup, retention, access control, and audit logs. Our contract includes DPA clauses and the list of sub-processors, including Odoo S.A.
FAQ 10 / 12
What if I want to switch Odoo partner in the future?+
No lock-in from our side. Odoo is the same platform with any partner; data and configurations are yours and portable. We hand over complete documentation of modules, configurations, and processes so another partner can step in without rebuilding.
FAQ 11 / 12
What makes Gitogi different from other Italian Odoo partners?+
Three things: (1) we worked inside Italian companies before positioning ourselves as a partner, so we understand real-world operations; (2) AI Adoption is integrated — we train your team on AI Act compliance, integrate AI into your flows, and cover the Fractional AI Officer role without you needing other partners; (3) headquartered in Milan, support in native Italian, Italian contract.
Every SME has unique processes. That's why every Odoo project starts with a scoping workshop: we map your flows together, identify the modules you actually need, and give you a precise proposal with scope, milestones, and team. No preset configurations, no fixed price list that doesn't reflect your case.
